1. JUNAMA Ireland operating under AIP Group B.V., a company registered 89571444 in The Netherlands whose registered office is at De Nieuwe Erven 3, Unit: 11938, 5431 NV, Cuijk, The Netherlands with email address info@junama.ie telephone number +35315666840; (hereinafter: “Guarantor“) provides a quality guarantee (hereinafter: “Guarantee“) for baby strollers, accessories and car seats sold by the Guarantor (hereinafter: “Products“).
2. The Guarantee period is 24 months (hereinafter: “Guarantee Period“), and the Guarantee Period starts on the day of conclusion of the sales contract of the Product by the Guarantor and the Purchaser, being the basis of purchase of the Product by the Purchaser (date of transaction is indicated on the purchase document (invoice or receipt)).
3. The execution of rights resulting from the Guarantee, should be carried out on the territory of England, Wales, Scotland and North Ireland (Territorial range of guarantee protection).
4. In the case of revealing a defect in the Product covered by the Guarantee within the Guarantee Period, the Guarantor will repair the Product free of charge.
5. The Guarantee does not include replacement of the Product with a defect-free one.
6. The Guarantee claims should be made in writing, sending it to the email address: support@junama.ie. In order to facilitate the Goods complaint procedure, please provide the following information:
1. The request for repair
2. Type of good
3. Date of purchase, order number and a receipt of purchase
4. Defect description
The guarantor will respond to the complaint under the guarantee within 5 working day
Each time, before repairing the product, the guarantor will verify the product. In the case of recognizing the guarantee as valid, the guarantor will repair the Product within 21 days from the date of delivery of defective product.
Liability under the guarantee covers only defects caused by reasons inherent in the sold product. In particular, the guarantee does not cover:
- Misuse of the pushchair
- Accidental or intentional damage, abuse or neglect.
- Damage caused by normal wear and tear.
- Improper storage and care of the product.
- Cosmetic conditions or surface damage including scratches, chips, stains etc
- Parts subject to normal wear and tear, foam handles, rubber elements of wheels, signs of fabric wear.
- Damage to handle bar grips or fabrics as a result of normal handling and daily use.
- Corrosion or rust on the wheels and chassis due to extreme environmental conditions, including high humidity, salt spray, ice or snow or due to insufficient maintenance.
- Incorrect assembly or the installation of a third-party part or accessory not compatible with the original design.
- If purchased second hand or from an unauthorised reseller.
- When the product has not been used for normal use and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Airline/Transport damage: check carefully your Junama product after it has been handled by the airline (or other transporters) and submit the claim directly to them.
It will also not cover any faults caused by lack of maintenance or natural degradation, such as:
- Alterations, modifications or tampering
- Repair through a non-approved or authorised Junama repair centre.
- Faults after or during use with buggy board
- The use of inferior quality parts not approved by Junama
- Normal deterioration such as tyre wear.
- Normal wear, tear such as discolouration, fading, rust erosion or deformation.
- Gradual wearing of mechanical components in proportion to age and usage of the product.
The guarantee does not exclude, limit or suspend any rights of the buyer arising from generally applicable law in addition to the rights under the guarantee.
